RESTORATION AND INTERIOR DESIGN OF AN ANCIENT LEMON HOUSE
This winter greenhouse, nestled within a beautiful park and belonging to the master villa, which also dates back to the early nineteenth century, underwent a comprehensive restoration due to its general state of decay and the evolving needs of the young clients.
The reimagined purpose now serves as a gathering spot for various occasions and events during the summer.
The restoration and revitalization of the walls were carried out exclusively from the interior, seamlessly integrating with the installation of electrical and plumbing facilities to establish a place of calm in the sunlit room. The transformed space includes an entrance area with a small lounge and a utility area. Given its occasional and exclusive summer use, the decision was made to forgo heating systems. The substantial thermal mass of the solid brick walls plays a pivotal role in maintaining a comfortable temperature inside the rooms during the warmer months.
